How to Cook
Cook from frozen of chilled.
Oven
- Preheat the oven and arrange your McCain Simply Potato Slices in a single layer
- onto a baking tray and place in the upper half of the oven.
- Bake until cooked through using the cooking guidelines shown.
- Turn occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Oven (with sunflower oil added to product)
- For a crisper, more golden product apply 3 tablespoons of Sunflower oil to the tray and slices before cooking.
Chef's Solutions
Try serving Cheesy Potato Bake - a simple and nutritious potato dish:
Half fill a baking tray with Simply Potato Slices, rub in a little garlic puree and add milk until just below the level of the potatoes. Top with grated cheese and cook until the potatoes are soft and cheese is bubbling.
Slices also make excellent toppings in place of pastry - simply layer over the dish and brush with milk.
