Back in February we attended the Casual Dining Show, a dedicated trade show for the casual dining sector. This was the second year of our attendance where we joined over 120 other exhibitors from the food and drink industry to not only showcase our products but excite visitors looking to find the latest trends in the food industry’s most dynamic sector.
However, if you were unable to attend and missed our innovative products at this year’s Casual Dining Show, we wanted to share with you some of our latest ventures in the casual dining market.
At this year’s show we looked to do something just a bit different with our unique serving suggestions.
So, what was on the menu?
We had three options on offer: Gastro Thick with Blue Cheese & Mango Chutney, Salt & Pepper Skin on Fries with Red Pepper & Onion and Sweet Potato Fries with a Salted Caramel Sauce.
We selected three of our most popular products that work wonders in the casual dining industry, the Menu Signatures Gastro Thick Cut Chips, Menu Signatures Sweet Potato Fries and the Menu Signatures Skin On Julienne. By accompanying these with some unique sauces and relishes we were able to demonstrate how our products can be used to elevate a menu from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
This is all part of our ongoing campaign to highlight how chips can be used in exciting ways to offer menu standout in an extremely competitive market, but more importantly keep customers coming back for more. Food trends aren’t a new thing but in an age where diners are increasingly on the lookout for the next best thing (the cronut being the perfect example of how a little experimentation to a classic can have punters literally queuing out the door) we’re keen to support how adaptation (and having a reliable chip to base it on) can be the key to menu success.
